Sorry I realize I have posted this before

For me I get a long of older men on here for some reason that either viewed me or sent me flowers and messages. A good portion of them were between 50 and 60. I know I like an older guy but not THAT old (no offense to those in that age range of course LOL)

I am not into younger guys either. I prefer someone my age to about 40'ish but no more than that.

I dated a guy once who was 23 at the time and I was 29. It went well just I sort of felt I don't know. Weird. He was mature for his age and all but still. My brothers are that age. So kwim? lol

I do not blame you. Last thing you need is a child to take care of. You want someone who will take care of you! And you deserve that!

But I haven't seen it before and I was wondering the same thing. I rarely get requests to talk/meet/messages from men my age...just the youger ones. I mean like the really younger ones..15 years and under age difference..what's up with that? I can just poltely tell them sorry and that they are not in the age range I am seeking but some are really persistent and I have no choice but to block them. I have never encountered this phenomenon before.

Carmen be carefull as a lot of these guys will also tell me that they are willing to relocate. Really? Ha ha bet you will.
Some if not all of these young bucks are really scamers.

I offen ask the same question, why is there some young chick (young enough to be my daughter) and from some far off city want to meet me?

what you have to be real careful about is the ones who are from other countries, looking for a free ride over here.

l am not saying there all like that but have had a few, ok many from those kinds and they start talking to you and all of a suddenthey love you and want to be with you....also be careful of the ones who need your help, a few dollars here and before you know it you are sending them half your pay cheque to help them out...a few of these l have had to, never sent any money but have had them asked...

So, guy's point of view? Is it flattering to have a young woman want to meet you. It seems to me that most guys on these sites are looking for much younger women, while women are looking for same age guys. When I see a guy in his 50's post that he would like to meet an 18 year old it makes me kind of queasy! But I'm really new to all this - Thoughts?

Personally, when I get mail from someone very young, I get suspicious. They never veiw my profile before contacting me. I will read the profile and look at the pictures. Usaully the picture are in suggestive poses. Very little is said about themselves, and what they say they are looking for tells me nothing. I strongly suspect that they are fake profiles.

The latest one to flower me, was a dark haired girl. Her profile said blonde hair,blue eyes. I flowered her back questioning the hair color. 2 days later her profile disapeared.

I think a person, both male and female, has to be carefull. As there are predators out there looking to get something: sex, money, e'mail addresses (to sell for spam lists) and who knows what else.

Wow, email addresses to sell for spam lists? That didn't even occur to me. I am really new to this forum for meeting people. Maybe it is as scary as the bar scene!

Just be cautious. Reading profiles gives a person an idea if it is real.
When corresponding to someone write to them through this site. At Least till you are comfortable with them. Fake profiles always are from some distance away. If they write, what they write will give them away.

I'm sorry, but I don't follow. How do they give themselves away? What am I watching for. (and thanks for the help by the way)

Scammers never dot their I's
Their English is bad.
They could live anywhere.
Often it is from a far away country.
They will soon ask you to go to yahoo messenger.
They "fall in love" very quickly.
Pictures are fake.
They have a least one child, who they love sooooo very much
This comes in handy when it won't take long before the child
gets sick and they ask you for money to help the child.

I've seen my share of 20/20 and Dateline and I can't imagine ever sending money to someone that I met online, but then again, the women that they interview on those shows say the same thing...that they never thought they would get scammed.

I guess Loner1960 had the right idea, just stay on this site where it is relatively safe until I feel very sure about someone, whenever that could be.

But...nothing ventured, nothing gained? Better to have loved and lost...yada, yada, yada.

another things to watch for.

They give their e-mail address very quickly, to get you to bypass CS. Don't fall for this once you go to their web-site or write directly to their e-mail address they will have your e-mail address.

Take your time, this site is safe. Most of the people on CS are legitimate. Once you have been here awhile, you will learn what we are saying. Most of the fake profiles are fairly easy to spot. As in person to person contacts that you meet anywhere, (work, sport arenas, etc.) you get to know people by observing, or talking to them. It will be the same on CS.

I think that it is harder in this forum, cause in person you can observe body language, eye contact etc. My creep-o-metre is really good in person...I'm just not so sure in writing.

Okay, I am going to sound really naive now! What can someone do with your email address?

My experiance from another singles site about a year and half ago was when I naively gave my e-mail address. I suddenly got lots of spam. With spam they then will try to get you to open up their web-sites. Which in turn is to infect your computor with a virus, and/or to take control of your e-mail address for their many misdeeds. But you are probably are familiar in what to do in the way of protecting your computor.

When we first meet she is told me her old is 40's yrs old.. I do believe her so much because I know she is Christian Lady and we have talking so much about God in our life.. I do call her everyday with international roaming here in my country and as long as we are in relationship I know the truth of her, she is tell me a lie things and I cant believe...,, its so upset things!!!
well Just see too much people playing here they are not only young but they also older!!! Honestly I do like someone is mature person and I dont care see they outside... althougt they are young or old!! what is matters! its all depended us how we life?
